Why do I need to clear my browser cache memory?

When you use a browser, like Chrome, Firefox etc., it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.

It is a good idea to clear your browser cache because it:

  • prevents you from using old forms
  • protects your personal information
  • helps our applications run better on your computer

Note: Clearing browser history, cache, cookies etc. might also delete your saved/autofill form data and saved passwords. Make sure you remember them or have it noted with you.
